Preserving Rabbit Feet[edit | edit source]

The following are two basic methods for preserving animal feet. Both result in mummified feet suitable for display or study.

Take the feet.
Submerge them in **isopropyl alcohol** for at least 3 days.
Remove the feet and soak in a **Borax solution** (2 parts Borax, 1 part water) overnight.
Remove the feet and shape them as desired.
Allow to **air dry** in a cool, dry place.
Once dry, the feet are fully mummified.
