Ivermectin uses and doses in Rabbits
Ivermectin is used topically to treat ear and fur mites
Fur mites can be treated with a .5 cc drop of the pour on ivermectin behind the neck of the rabbit. and redoes 7 days latter
Ear mites can be treated with topical application of 3 drops the injectable ivermectin in each ear. the injectable ivermectin is preferred for use in the ear becuse after they are cleaned with oilive oil the skin is raw and the injectable ivermectin is easier on the rabbit, the pour on has an alcohol carrier base and will stink the already raw ears .
