The five base Allele's that  effect the base coat color of the Domestic rabbit. We are strictly discussing Genotype in this article , not what the standard calls the color as a phenotype.

Genotype is the black and white formula on the gene that makes a color. Phenotype ignores the genetics and says "it just looks like this one so that is how I will describe it". The standard uses Phenotype. But it is important to understand genotype when breeding.
