Escherichia coli, also known as E. coli, is a Gram-negative, facultative anaerobic, rod-shaped, coliform bacterium of the genus Escherichia that is commonly found in the lower intestine of warm-blooded organisms

Transmittion[edit | edit source]

The types of E. coli that can cause illness can be transmitted through contaminated water or food, or through contact with animals or people.

Presentation[edit | edit source]

E.Coli can present in Rabbits normally as lesions in the intestines ,diarrhea , or as Pneumonia when inhaled and the lungs infected.
